Biography

Darren joined Darlington Building Society in 2004 after finishing his AS levels and working a year in the retail sector. He started on the counter at the Society’s Redcar branch and has successfully progressed his way up through the organization fulfilling various roles and undertaking numerous professional qualifications. Darren is a member of a number of Senior Management Committees including Executive and is responsible for the Society’s customer experience and distribution channels including branches, intermediaries and online.  He is passionate about people, the mutual business model and the diversity this brings to the financial services sector.
